Planner I

The City of Ogdensburg is accepting applications to fill the position of Planner I.

Starting salary is $55,000 with generous step and COLA increases along with an excellent fringe benefit package including NYS retirement and platinum-level health insurance significantly covered by the City.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Either:

(A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Master's degree in planning, engineering, urban geography; landscape architecture, public administration, environmental studies or a related field and two (2) years of experience in municipal, community or regional planning; OR

(B) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor's degree in planning, engineering, urban geography, landscape architecture, public administration, environmental studies or related field and three (3) years of experience in municipal, community or regional planning.
