The New York Planning Federation (NYPF) is a statewide nonprofit organization serving as the primary resource for New York State's planning and zoning community since 1937. ## State Training Requirements

New York State law requires at least 4 hours of annual training for members of planning boards and zoning boards of appeals. NYPF's training programs are specifically designed to satisfy this mandate while strengthening board members' ability to serve their communities effectively.
