Deputy Commissioner of Planning

Resumes are being accepted for the position of Deputy Commissioner of Planning. This is professional and administrative work at a supervisory level involving responsibility for assisting the Commissioner in planning, organizing and directing the activities of the Planning Department. The work involves considerable contact with state and federal agency staff, public officials, consulting professionals, civic organizations and others relative to developing and administering a county planning program. The Deputy position will focus on land use and environmental matters or transportation and transit along with the supervision of units and consultants involving the same.
